Free Will


If you could build a universe with galaxies and worlds, and then create your people there to live;

Would you in your world order, have a master plan unfurled; a set of rules and laws that you would give?

Would you command their worship, have them blindly serve your call, would you control their every waking thought'?

And make them all your prisoners with no free will at all; and be the only master that they sought?

Or would you give them freedom to serve whom or what they choose? To be their own deciders of their fate;
and tell them of the consequences what they have to lose, should they retain in life a sinful state?

Would you give them time enough to choose which master they would serve? And patiently let each one decide? Would you offer them forgiveness, though it was undeserved, and take them back with arms opened wide?

Would you send to them a teacher giving them the sacrifice, a perfect way to show them how to live?
And let your son die for them; to pay the utmost price

The most expensive gift that you could give. Would you rather have a world of people serve you out of love.
than blindly serving orders you instill? The choice is ours, and freely given from our Lord above.

Our fate will be the product of free will.
